A person learned one profession. Joined one company. Worked there for many years. Then retired.

Almost everyone was travelling along the same road.

But the world did not stand still.

Work began to change before we had time to notice.

A person no longer has only one profession.

• They may be an engineer during the day.
• A writer in the evening.
• A content creator on weekends.
• A co-founder of a small project whenever an opportunity appears.

Some work creates income.

Some work creates only experience.

And some work gives nothing tangible, except helping someone become a different person.

The strange thing is…

We spend more time working.

Yet we spend very little time understanding what that work is saying about who we are.

It is that what we have done slowly disappears after every project ends, every job changes, every account is abandoned, and every file is left in a folder no one opens again.
