Forwork

Visibility and value of contribution are not always the same.

04

Care creates the conditions in which people can continue contributing.
05

A title describes a position. It cannot contain the full influence of a person.
06

Saying “this was a team effort” is true, but incomplete. A fair story preserves the shared outcome, the individual roles, the overlap and the dependence between people.

Individual recognition does not deny the collective. It helps explain the collective more accurately.

Who is invited to present.

12

Forwork was built so people can explain the part they contributed to shared work.

Without claiming the entire result. Without disappearing behind the name of an organization or team. Work identity should be precise enough to respect both the person and the collective.

Work is rarely made alone.

Someone imagined.

Someone asked.

Someone built.

Someone challenged.

Someone cared.

Someone kept things moving.

Someone helped others become more capable.
